Caravan Park Rules and Regulations

The following information is provided to help you have the most
relaxed and enjoyable stay possible.

   Office Hours: Shire Office Daily 8.30am to 5.00pm.

   After Hours: CEO on   0427 159 855     Deputy CEO on 0448 973 610
 
   Sites: Payment in full must be made prior to checking into the site, unless otherwise
   arranged with the Shire of Wandering.
  
   Note; A maximum term of three months is  applicable for any visitor to ensure that an
   adequate supply of sites is available to service the district and to comply with the
   requirements of the Caravan and Camping  Act.

   Extending: If you wish to extend please advice reception as soon as possible.
   We can only guarantee your site up to the date on your receipt as some  sites have
   advanced bookings.

Power: All powered sites require a 15amp rated lead. A few sites  need longer leads (20m) please check at reception.

    Water: There are 2  taps in the park. Guests are requested to turn off the hot
    water system when vacating the park if there are no other  guests occupying the park.

Sites: Please leave your site clear of  litter on departure.

Smoking: Please note ablutions is a non  smoking area at all times.

Vehicles: One car per site is allowed, and must be parked on the right of the site,
not across the front  of the site.

   Pets: No pets allowed, unless otherwise arranged in advance with  the Shire of
   Wandering and only then in exceptional  circumstances will pets be permitted.
   For example, a pet may be  allowed for a short term stay (two nights maximum)
   where no  other guests are booked into he park and the pet must be kept confined
   on a leash for the duration of the stay.

  Torches: It is suggested that a torch be carried around after dusk to  prevent  personal
   injury. No fires permitted.   

  LPG: Gas bottles are available for purchase at the Wandering Tavern  situated on the
  main street.  Please contact the Tavern for cost and availability  9884 1055
 
  BBQ’s:  There are free bbq’s facilities at the Town Park situated on the main street ,
   between  the Shire office and the Telecentre. We appreciate your cleaning of the
   bbq’s after use.

  Visitors:  All are welcome during your stay. You are responsible for your guests
   behaviour.
  Visitors intending to stay over night must be registered at 
              reception, fees payable. Overnight $10
 Noise: All guests are to use the facilities in a quiet and cooperative manner,
 recognising the limited services available and respecting others staying at
 the Caravan Park.
 
Speed Limit:  Walking pace for all cars and bicycles.

Bicycles:  Are not to be ridden after dark or before 8am. They  must not
be ridden around the ablution block area as  this may cause an accident.  It
is the parent’s responsibility to ensure their children wear  helmet’s in the park
if riding bicycles.

Responsibilities:  Parents are responsible for controlling and supervising
the behaviour of their children, for their own safety and the comfort of others.
Park patrons use these facilities at their own risk; no responsibility will be taken
by the park management for any loss or damage to persons, property or equipment.

Ablutions: Children under the age of 6 MUST be accompanied by a parent in the
ablutions at all times.

Glass:               Do Not take any Glass items into the Ablutions.

Caution! The ablutions are a wet area, for your own safety please  wear
appropriate foot wear.
  
    Fax:  Service available at Shire Office for a small fee.
                   
   Rubbish:  Please wrap all rubbish before placing in bins.

   Telephone:  A public telephone is situated at Town Park in the main street

   Community Centre: Tennis Courts available for use at the Wandering Community
   Centre. BBQs also available.
