Playgroup is a community group for parents or guardians who have young children under school age (Birth to school age).  Playgroup is a  huge benefit not only to children but parents as well.  It creates a support network for parents with young children and it gives children an opportunity to develop social skills and interact with other young children.  Playgroup is about playing and learning, meeting other parents, becoming part of the local community, and having fun.

Our local Wandering Playgroup has been going for over 20 years.  We pride ourselves on our fantastic community spirit.  Living in a rural town, we understand the vital importance of socialising with other people and just getting out of the house especially with young children at home.  Playgroup is a great way to meet people and establish a place in the local community.  Wandering Playgroup has a wonderful facility at the CWA room on Watts Street and we get together once a week and have a cuppa while watching the children play and participate in arts and crafts projects.  We welcome any new members any time during the year.  Please drop in for a visit if you are thinking of joining and we can provide you with any information that you may need.

Wandering Playgroup meets every Tuesday 9:30am at the CWA Room.

(No Playgroup sessions are held during school holidays)
