SafeWA Contact Tracing for COVID-19
From 5 December 2020, businesses are required to maintain contact registers for WA Health Department COVID-19 contact tracing.
The Shire of Wandering have implemented mandatory contact tracing at the following Local Community Facilities:
- Shire Administration Building
- Community Resource Center
- Wandering Caravan Park (QR code at campers kitchen)
From the 5 December 2020 if you are visiting any of the above facilities you are required to record your attendance using the SafeWA app or by signing the paper register. The register will be kept for 28 days, after 28 days the records will be destroyed.
If COVID-19 is detected in the WA community, contact registers help to protect us all by enabling the WA Health Contact Team to quickly identify and assist anyone that may have been exposed to COVID-19. SafeWA is an efficient and safe way to record patron and visitor contact details where they can check-in using the app.
Download the SafeWA app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store now.
The Shire of Wandering thanks you for your cooperation. For more information please visit the Department of Health website
