Help Make Our Shire a More Inclusive Place to Live

The Shire of Wandering's Draft Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP) has been developed and we are now calling on community members for comments and feedback.

Through the review period we have now expanded the Plan to acknowledge that many groups may also experience barriers to access and inclusion, such as people with a disability, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD), Aboriginal people, Seniors, people experiencing financial hardships and others.

The Shire welcomes feedback from all these groups on the Draft Access and Inclusion Plan. The Access and Inclusion Plan aims to ensure that Shire services, buildings and facilities are accessible and inclusive to all in our community.

The draft Access and Inclusion Plan can be accessed by clicking here.

A PDF copy of the questionnaire can be downloaded by clicking here or submit your feedback via Webform here.

Hard copies of the plan are available from the front counter of the Shire Administration Office, 22 Watts Street, Wandering.

The Draft AIP is available for public comment until Friday 28 May 2021.

Council welcomes community feedback on the document by:

  • Attending the community consultation session to be held at the Wandering Community Resource Centre, 18 Watts Street, Wandering from 10am – 12pm on Thursday 20 May 2021.
  • Emailing your feedback to csc@wandering.wa.gov.au
