Interpreting Services Available

The Shire of Wandering is now an agency that can provide interpreting services to any community member holding a current medicare card.

The Australian Government's Interpreting Service can be used to deliver local government services and activities including, but not limited to:

  • rates enquiries
  • parking and building permits
  • planning and urban services
  • local government funded community support services
  • emergency preparedness and response activities
  • local government funded library and recreation services
  • parks and public amenities services and maintenance
  • animal safety, control and registration (excludes compliance activities)
  • food or building safety and regulation (excludes compliance activities)

Please contact the Shire office on (08) 9884 1056 if you would like to book an interpreting services session and this can be arranged.  Please note session bookings require a minimum of 24 hours prior notice.
