📢 Australian National Flag to Fly at Half-Mast
The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has advised that, following the passing of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway on 28 August 2026, the Australian National Flag is to be flown at half-mast as a mark of mourning and respect.
Accordingly, the Australian National Flag will be flown at half-mast throughout Wednesday, 9 September 2026, on all buildings and establishments occupied by Western Australian Government departments and affiliated agencies.
We join with the people of Norway and the international community in acknowledging the life and service of His Majesty King Harald V and extend our condolences at this time.
